Visited the best place in Amsterdam this summer. And had my tintype portrait taken by the nicest people. The tintype process is a real artform in itself and is something that has intrigued me for several years. You get one shot, directly developed on a sheet of metall. I don't usually like to have my picture taken. But to find Silver Portrait Store Amsterdam and have this amazing experience was well worth the trip. I highly recommend it. Especially if you are interested in old time photographic processes. The care and knowledge that Annemarie van der Heijden and Barend van Herpe put into every portrait is incredible.
