While visiting Amsterdam in May 2015, we came across the Silver Portrait Studio. After discussing with the owners, my husband and I decided to get our picture taken. The photographers are working with a process from the 1850's. We participated in the complete process including set up, plate preparation and development. It was most impressive to witness. The results were amazing and perfect. We brought back nice memories from Amsterdam and a very special souvenir from our visit.
